Male House Sparrow
Male House Sparrows are brightly colored birds with gray heads, white cheeks, a black bib, and rufous neck – although in cities you may see some that are dull and grubby. Females are a plain buffy-brown overall with dingy gray-brown underparts. Their backs are noticeably striped with buff, black, and brown

I get a lot of these at the feeder and enjoy taking pictures of them. I added this to my favorites because I just love the pose, the colors, and the way this one had a ruffled feather look and you really nailed them details with exacting precision. A gorgeous image of a common sparrow that stands out beautifully.

Amazing details and tack sharp focus on the white feathers. Magnificent wildlife capture, Candace.
