I captured this shot this morning our female bluebird that has chosen our nest box for her family this year. Shot handheld with Canon 7D Mark II, Canon 100-400 mm L at 400 mm, f5.6, 1/750, ISO 160.

Thank you, Patrick. So pleased that the bluebirds chose our yard to visit and raise their family. I shot this through the window. <><

Thank you, Nancy, but don't be jealous! I am sure they will come to see you too, especially if you set up a place for them to nest. Yes, it is awesome, Patrick, and they are fun to watch and to photograph. Got some red finches too. <><

You must have been writing at the same time as I was, Candace. I wouldn't have left out off. So glad to hear that you have a nest box too. I find that shooting through the window is working well. Not disturbing them in the least. <><

Did the bluebirds move into your bird house you put up? A perfect shot Through a window. The bluebirds are still visiting, but they did not move in, still waiting!

No problem, Micky. Yes, they are building their nest each day. We have a mockingbird that isn't happy about his new neighbors, so he keeps chasing them off, but they fly right back, so hopefully that won't deter them from staying. We live in south central North Carolina, so maybe where you live it is too soon. Hopefully you will get them to nest there. I am excited about having them. <><
