I love everything about this one John. First of all the black and white works so well for the scene. The way the wave is bubbled up adds a beautiful look to the picture. The dof of the other seagull is a big bonus for the picture, but our dancing sidestepping seagull steals the show. Gorgeous tones, your details are so sharp, the picture so clear. A fantastic find and great timing on it John.

What a great find and capture John, love it, looks like a dance move, lol... Tagging is the only way to actually see the history of certain birds. Might even be from certain universities. I actually come across a young man tagging monarch butterflies a couple of years ago. he was working for a university and it was to learn as much as the could as why their numbers where falling,

Yes, that is the 1st question I had after looking at this image, it was odd but I see the possible reasons from the above comments now .....Great composition,light and clarity on those birds,John! the monotone suits the image fine and that side stepping moment is a great bonus!
