Stars in the State House
A massive, 2-ton chandelier, 8 feet across and made with 10,080 pieces of Czech crystal adorns the blue and gold coffered dome of the rotunda in the WV State Capitol. I love that the aperture blades of this zoom lens produce such crisp starbursts at small apertures! My prior zoom made "mushy" 6-point stars.

Chris Budny's Gallery 		  Thank you both! Shirley, I'd been here before, but was never happy with my zooms on the chandelier. This was my first time earlier in the day, with strong sun hitting the crystals. Also, with a new zoom -- Louise, not your beautiful 200-400, but a new 100-400 I've recently picked up -- so happy with the "starbursts" created by the blades in the lens' aperture! Best I've had from any lenses until now ;)
