I love the composition of this, Nikki, especially the blonde in the right-hand corner. What a surprise to find her there with such a wonderful expression on her face! Love the story-telling aspect of this image. It reminds me a bit of something Sally Mann might have done, and I am a HUGE admirer of hers, too!!

Oddly, for me (who loves spooky), this doesn't seem eerie really. It seems like this really cool story about kids' imaginative play. and I'm thoroughly enjoying all its elements.

I'm with Mitch, I didn't see this as spooky either, but something that kids love to do.... get buried in sand! A fun capture, very playful, and nicely chosen to be B&W!

Well, I thought it was a little spooky too. By "almost done" I wondered if the kids were going to cover up their heads with sand, too. B&W is a nice choice for this.
