Nourishment for the flowers and the rain is always welcome. The flower is so pretty, love the yellow and you did wonderful with the lighting. The rain drops take the picture to higher levels. So gorgeous Mary. That hot chocolate and cookies sounds pretty good.

I'm so happy every time it rains in our neck of the woods Mary. My dry and parched lawn finally got some much needed watering. It's always so refreshing to see those precious raindrops as captured here on this gorgeous floral. Great idea to have the hot chocolate and cookies.

Thanks for commenting, Evy! Rey, I'm with you about the rain and its welcome effect on plants and other green things. I used to love the rain, because it meant I didn't have to water the backyard! But I've mentioned before how our succulents are rapidly replacing green grass, so our work (and water bill) can be cut down by at least 30%. When I water them on the patio table, I keep picturing more and more drought-resistant plants in the future where dirt is right now. Meanwhile, the weatherpeople are predicting next winter will be an El Nino one...Ya can't win! Thanks, as always, for your friendly words.

Thanks for commenting, Marilyn. So many people across the States have grown to hate rain this year, but we get some in California, and practically do a celebration dance! It WAS nice while it lasted.
