Oh wow!, what a great story, they are my favourite little birds. I have had them land on my head, while out doing some bird photography. Pretty hard to do a selfie with a DSLR, lol..The alien abduction story is just so good, as is the image!!!

Awww, they like you, too, Gord! I wonder why they are such tame wild birds? Smart, too...it figured out how to get us to turn on the faucet after only a couple of times of it watching us wash our hands. As soon as we turned the water on and left it on, it went immediately to the sink and drank. We gave it a little plate of sunflower seeds, and it was cracking them open on the heater vent, the shower rod, and then on the kids' socks and jeans! So cute.
