RIP Kitty Coal

Last-night we lost our cat, Coal, she had a Stroke, she was 18 years old. Rango is walking around the house looking for her & calling out. This sure has been one sad year for our family. Lens aperture f/3.2, shutter 1/5, focal length 4mm.

Oh, that is so sad. She did so well to get to 18. I bet she had a wonderful life with you. RIP sweet Coal.

I am so sorry for your loss, Chris. I know how hard is to lose a friend and pain never goes away. My 2 cats also had a hard time when my Maza died. I am sure she had a wonderful life with such an animal loves as you are. My thoughts are with you. Rest in peace, sweet Coal!

Ah, Chris...this kind of news is always so heartbreaking. And it's always so hard to comfort someone whose loss is sudden and so recent. Just know that all the cat lovers know how you feel, and we hope and pray that the coming year will be a much happier one than the one your family has just been through.

Thank you all so much, I know you understand what it's like. Coal & her brother Spock, were rescued as very young kittens from the local Coal Loader where they didn't have much chance of survival. They both lived full long lives where they were much loved & kept safely. Spock passed away a month before Coal, so they may be happily playing together again over that Rainbow Bridge!!

Thanks so much for your kind words Emile, we know you know exactly what we are feeling right now. Coal & Rango use to talk to each other every morning, I’ve not heard any of the other cats doing it. Rango called out Thursday morning, but I haven’t heard her doing it since. Rango is keeping close to us now, she will be 2 on Saturday. Thanks again.

Oh. Sweet Chris. (And Tony!) So sorry to hear this. It ws the same around here, too. All three of our kitties were elderly. Lucky passed then Pookey then Fangy. So, so, so hard to deal with. You gave her a wonderful long life. I'm so glad you have Rango to soften the blow. Dale and I will be thinking about you. xoxoxo So very sorry.

Thanks Laura & Dale for your kind words. It is a very hard time, you get so use to them being around, we still miss Kody & often see things & say that would be good for her & then realise she's no longer with us. Keep smiling & remember all the good times.
