Uluru at sunset

Uluru at sunset
This was taken after dark with a long exposure. Uluru is also known as the Red Centre of Australia. Hundreds of miles from the nearest town, Uluru will cost you a pretty penny to stay there, and also to enter the park. Some areas of The Rock are not allowed to be photographed due to it being Sacred Sites. Still, a sight to behold, once you see it!

  How beautiful, Debbie!

No, it isn't a Hakea, it's native hibiscus. They come in two leaf types.
