Thank you! You know what? I am kind of startled by the comments because I almost didn't put this up. I'm engaged in this shot a day for 365 days of 2010, and I'm trying to see things in my own environment that are interesting, when I usually want to GO somewhere to find images. But I did like this and wouldn't have seen it at all had I not been hustling for my photo for the day. Thank you.

I also meant to say that these are kind of weird little bottles that we found at the thrift shop. They're missing their centers; that is, they come around in a circle with the centers missing. We don't know what they're originally intended for. Anybody know?

Well I don't care what they are used for though that would be interesting. I adore this capture. Can't believe you thought it might not generate much interest -- I know you would have been drawn to it in someone else's gallery :)

Decanters of some sort Mitch, maybe for sherry. Beautiful photo! I used to do one image a day but cannot keep it up.
Good on you! ~Pat

You captured something that always fascinates me - the window screen. The screen itself can create a sense of movement, depending on the angles in which it's shot. Nice one!

Thanks so much, Stef, Monnie, Michelle, Tammy, Leslie, Nikki, Kitty, Sam, Pat, Pat, and Kathy. :) Pat, they are kind of in that decanter sort of shape, but they're only a couple of inches tall.

I love this image, Mitch! Really...I'm making it a favotite! Anyway, my husband dives and digs for artifacts and has all sorts of old bottles...I'll ask him.Meanwhile, how is the 365 working out? I am thinking of doing it...do you have a blog? I'd love to see how it's going. I'm so busy that I don't know if my name is Arthur or Martha..but hey...what's one more thing?

Patti

Patti, thanks! Glad you enjoy this. I used to dig for old bottles myself, when we lived in Florida. I've kind of abandoned the 365 for right now. Just got so behind being away a couple of times. I hope to pick it back up in a month or so though.
