My real journey of discovery has been not in seeing new landscapes; but in having new eyes.

Bio

By profession, I am a Critical Care RN. My home is in Charleston, SC and I have a 24 year old daughter that is the light of my life. I do travel nurse assignments all across the country. On one of these, I discovered photography. The location was beautiful, untouched Alaska. I am now only realizing after becoming a BP member, what a passion I am constantly developing for photography. I love capturing landscapes, but my new friends here are helping me acquire a love for abstracts as well. I am in one location 8-13 weeks and take advantage of every spare moment with a camera. I work crazy hours; days, nights, & in-between; sometimes 60 hours a week, but always try to have that one day to capture that one perfect shot. Thanks to everyone here at BP. You have been so gracious & kind with your comments to this "rookie."
