When you look at life "through the camera's eye", it helps you to appreciate the things you would normally have overlooked. It helps to slow you down and enjoy life for the moment. - Scott Rhodes
Pretty as a pictu...
I live in Sydney, Australia with my husband and cat. I bought my first camera, a Pentax P30 SLR: 28-80mm lens, in the '80s. I used it mostly to document my holidays and key life events, and did a couple of short courses at night school. I got serious in 2002, when a professional photographer advised me to find and join my local camera club. This was great advice and encouraged me forward.
I now use a Canon EOS Rebel 300D SLR digital, 18-55mm lens (also 55-200mm). My photographic interests are landscapes, wildlife and pets. I can't resist lovely windows and spotting bicycles anywhere. (For fun, I love finding cats on location when I travel - shop windows, verandah chairs, doorways).
My photographic challenges are portraits, indoor objects using natural lighting, night photography (tripod work) and learning to do more in Photoshop.
