Thanks for stopping by! Since developing my first roll of film in junior high, I've been hooked on photography for its ability to capture a moment or event. Over the years I've come to understand it as more of an expressive medium. So, while not all works can be categorized as art, I strive to apply good photographic principles. Photography, then, gives me a reason to get out of the house and explore new regions, often right under my nose. I like to camp and hike historic terrain like the Lewis and Clark trail, or old route 66 and marvel at the scenes and cultrure along the way.

Bio

Originally from St. Louis, I now live in Independence, Missouri just outside of Kansas City on the brink of three trails; the Oregon, California and Santa Fe. For me, photography is an opportunity to get away from it all into more rural settings to marvel at the Creator's handiwork. Occasionally having the presence of mind to capture an image to bring back as a rememberance.

"In photography, it's not your batting average that counts, it's the number of home runs you hit." (Source available upon request). Go yard!
