Bio

I started developing an interest in photography in 2002 when I started shooting pictures with an old Minolta, film camera that my Dad has. Later on I got a Fuji S5000 camera which was the best I could afford back then! It was a great camera to begin with and sparked my love of photography! Thanks Fuji! Ha! I later on got myself the Canon Digital Rebel! I still didn't have much of an idea what I was doing so I decided to take a course in photography here in South Africa. Learning all the basics and gettin some great pointers has really helped develop my skills and love for photography! I always liked to look at things differently and photography is the best way to express that! I have since purchased a couple lenses, the Sigma 50-500mm lens, Sigma 300mm and a Canon Macro lens, which, is probably my most used lens at the moment! I have always had a very keen interest in Wildlife and the natural world and once I discoverd that capturing a moment in nature and viewing it again was one of the most rewarding feelings I had ever experienced, there was no turning back! Shooting wildlife is definately my favourite! I will go to any length to take pictures of any wild creatures! Absolutely love it! But, ofcourse, as all photographers would know, a well composed picture that pleases the eye is always rewarding, whether is is of a car or Rhino! I think my dream goal would have to be to work for National Geographic magazine someday! It's always good to dream!
