I currently live in Portland, Maine and love to shoot in the surrounding area; there is so much to take pictures of. I am a music teacher in the Portland, Maine area and have been shooting since 2002. My interest in photography began in my senior year of high school where I took a photography course. I enjoy taking pictures of just about anything but have grown to love macro and abstract photography as it shows details and requires the observer's emotion to come up with a story or feeling based on the photograph. I am interested in shooting portraits but haven't had a lot of experience shooting people. I currently shoot with a Nikon D50 and have a Sigma 28-80, and a 70-300 lens with several filters and a tripod.
