I shoot pretty much any subject that I think might make for an interesting picture...

Bio

My earliest memory of photography is of taking a picture of a tree-stump with my dad's point & shoot 110mm camera at about 5-6 years of age in India - and feeling a strange sense of accomplishment.

Over the years, I retained an interest in photography and continued to learn more about it, albeit only through trial and (lots of) error, using a 35mm Minolta fixed-focus point & shoot camera. But it wasn't until about 2 years ago that I decided to invest some serious thought and effort into the pictures I took.

I now shoot with 35mm film - black & white as well as color. I use a Minolta Maxxum 500si with a Tamron 28-80mm AF lens and a Quantaray 70-300mm AF Zoom lens along with a very small assortment of filters and a tripod. Not a lot of gear but fairly versatile for my needs.

Said Brooks Atkinson, "The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking."

I aim to keep on looking...
