My photographic 'style is continually developing. My real passion is for street photography and the candid. However I always carry a camera and will 'shoot' anything. My 7 year old daugher is getting the bug too and she often comes with me to do the safer street shoots and landscapes.

Based in Oxford, UK I live with my family and a goldfish in the north of the city.
I started photography many years ago when my grandfather gave me a 'box brownie' and my father showed me how to do 'trick' photography so that he was 'standing' on my sister's hand closer to the camera. I was hooked and getting the prints back from the 120 film was such a thrill. At school I won a photography competition with a small 35mm compact of a photograph out of an areoplane window of the alps. When I started work in Edinburgh my first wage packet was spent on a Zenith 'E' 35mm and 50mm lens and a pile of film. I didn't eat or go out for a month as a result! I still have these and use them now and again and still get great results from such a cheapo.
