Before I learned to walk, I was told that I learned to color and put shapes together. Whether it was water color, pottery or any other aspect of art, I was always interested in the design part. I took photography in my senior year in high school and enjoyed the class but I put my camera away and went on to other things. After having my first son, I picked up my husband's camera and I have been taking pictures ever since. I have graduated from the first Pentax K1000 to a Nikon D200 and from taking pictures of my own children to capturing pictures of children and adults for others. On a trip to Peru I discovered the thrill of travel photography and have added landscape, other cultures and animals to my portfolio. Now with my camera in hand I have been to different parts of the world to record some of this amazing planet.
