I got my first SLR camera when I was 16 years old. Completely manual Pentax K1000 --- wish I still had it. In high school I was on the yearbook staff and became addicted to the photographic process. I've always taken tons of photographs and only this year - after much encouragement from family and friends - I started a portrait photography business. I love my job. I can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing! Hoping to improve my work on a daily basis, I'm always striving for the next best shot!
