My favorite shots are of my three cats -- Tux, Duncan and Callie. They are incredible hams and truly seem to enjoy posing and frolicing outside while I snap their pictures. If I want some pleasant company, all I have to do is grab my camera and step outside and three beautiful, eager photo subjects are at my beck and call.

Photography has been a favorite hobby of mine for years, an interest rekindled this Christmas when I received a new digital camera and began snapping shots with a level of excitement and enthusiasm usually reserved only for the occasional chocolate binge.
I am an editor and writer by trade, a graduate student, wife and mother. Free time is rare, but when it comes the first thing I reach for is my coat and my camera.
