I purchased a Digital Rebel 300D in January. I was a bit reluctant to make my move from film to digital at first. I have been using a point and shoot Kodak DC290 for a couple of years now, and was getting aggravated with its limitations, so I went for the Rebel. The Rebel was most like the 35mm SLR I had been using all along, the Canon EOS Elan II. All of the accessories I already had were compatible with the Digital Canon SLR.

I am quite pleased with the change to digital. I shoot more now than ever without that expense of processing. I don't hesitate to take a shot with the Rebel. Anyone thinking of making that change as well, I highly recommend it.
