My initial interest in photography began as an opportunity for me to capture "special moments" - families, friends, events travel etc. My move to the White Mountains of NH in the mid 90's as well as the birth of the 1st of 7 grandchildren were both catalysts for taking my interest to another level. However with this peaked interest and increase of photo ops I also realized that I needed a mentor desperately…thus began my never-ending cycle of learning.
What I love most about this journey is the realization that it's the simple things that make the defining difference in my photos - simplicity, symmetry, perspective - and I am continuously searching for a new way of looking at everything that I see. There are photo opportunities everywhere.
