Welcome to my Better Photo gallery. I've enjoyed photography since my college days (the late 70's) when I used a Canon 35mm. I began shooting digitally several years ago and now use a Nikon D70. My love of flowers and gardens grew from my early childhood where I spent many happy hours in my great-grandmother's flower garden. I take the art of photography seriously and can at times be a "purist" when it comes to technique. However, I also love to create and push the pixels around in Photoshop, so you will also see a variety of digital manipulations and assemblages alongside my "straight" photography.
