Bio

Well it's been about 5 years since I posted my first image on BetterPhoto...time to update my bio! These days my time is divided between shooting and writing, while most of this year (2008) has been spent writing a couple of spec screenplays, which I'm pleased to say have been snatched up by a couple of producers and film financiers. I'm hoping around the new year (it's October now) I will be able to take a writing break and get myself up into the Sierra Nevada...where I always find myself yearning for when my inner compass needs to be recalibrated! I'm thinking my 'true north' is a bit off...

If I could pinpoint one major life lesson I have learned since I've matured as an artist, it's that regardless of what level you are at with your photography (or whatever your artistic medium is) enjoy it for what it is - now. Don't wait until you feel you've 'arrived' and are worthy of the public's praise of your work. Push yourself to always improve, but be your own best fan and find enjoyment in what you are producing - now.

I'm always interested in good conversation and meeting new people, so if you feel the inkling to send me a note, please do!

Wishing you the best regards!
Chip
