Originally I got interested in photography in my late teens but as time went on it was too pricey to continue. Later in 2004 I rekindled my interest by getting into digital. I simply enjoy taking photographs and desire to increase their quality and interest. I super enjoy making my own prints/enlargements and displaying them in my home. I am sure my wife gets very tired of me always trying to find a spot to hang them!
I retired in 2008 and have found that photography always gives me "something to do" and with two grand kids and more on the way there too is a major opportunity of photo subjects. Any subject whether Landscape, micro, portrait etc is of interest to me.
My gear consist of a Nikon d700 and d80 with various nikon lenses.
