I've been into photography for about 38 years.Got my first camera at 18 and have been taking pictures ever since.I still have my darkroom downstairs. Don't do much there any more due to time and the digital age.Mainly grew up doing BW photography.Read and learned about zone's from Ansell Adams books.
Five years ago I got into the digital age.
Starting out I had a Minolta XK with a Rokker 1.1.2 lens.Extremely fast lens.Then to a X700.I currently have a Bronica 6x6 SQa,Yashica G16 twin reflex 6x6 and a Crown Graflex 4x5 field camera.Also a Nikon D200 W/ a 18-200 and a 70-300 lens.
On the lighter side I enjoy traveling around the world and getting pictures with my green shoes.Don't know what started me on this but people find it interesting.
I dabbled in wedding photography long ago.Now I just enjoy this as a hobby.I love to travel and spend time outdoors.Fishing when I have the time and I still play oldtimers hockey.
My goal is to still improve my eye to see a subject and capture it.Also to learn to cheat better with photoshop.I enjoy taking a picture and not having to do any work on it.That's what I go for.Get the shot the first time.
