I had an interest in photography that was not recognized or nurtured until I was in my mid twenties. I purchased a Pentax MX for the purpose of photographing the Daytona 500 in Feb. of 1981. I continued to enjoy making photographs afterwards but I usually limited myself to scenics. I would occasionally come up with one of my so-called wierd, or let's say different, photographs. In the early to mid nineties I became a member of a couple of photo clubs and began to increase the number of photographs I took. After continually being beaten by the competition I began taking the art more seriously and my photographs began to improve. That has been my journey in photography.
My gear now consists of a Minolta Dimage 7 that I use for infra-red photos and my current workhorse Olympus OMD E-M1 MKII. I love all of these cameras.
