I am a native of southern California and as such am drawn to the things my environment has to offer me visually. Sunny weather and great light topping the list. As an artist, that carries over to my work both in fine art and photography. I am drawn by this outward light to the subjects I choose to capture and by an inward light that illuminates my creative journey as an artist. To be an artist is to construct, and to whatever degree one shows the genius for construction in any work of any sort, he is that much an artist.
The artist life is therefore the desirable life, and it is possible to all.
