I'm a native New Yorker. I live in Bethpage on Long Island and I work in Manhattan. I have been taking pictures since I was a child. The first camera I remember using was my mother's Brownie Box Camera. I bought my first new 35mm in a PX in Viet Nam. I used it exclusively for more than 20 years until my daughter had an accident while using it for a high school photography course.
I remained loyal to film until about 5 years ago when it became obvious even to me that the time had come to make the change. I have taken more pictures in the last 5 years than I took in the previous 20.
Recording events & expressing myself through my images gives me a great deal of pleasure. I also find sharing my work with wonderful people like you who also post their images on this site very satisfying.
