I love to take pictures of flowers and nature, but mostly anything that catches my eye. In recent months, I have gotten to take more people pictures. Being able to capture a beautiful image is a challenge. I am working on trying to get that strong image that just stays with you when you close your eyes.

Bio

I started taking pictures as a child with a Polaroid that my uncle gave me as a gift.

I used to take a lot of pictures of people back then. Now as an adult I prefer flowers and nature scenes.

My parents gave me a digital camera that has been a Godsend these past few years. I used that camera on my first trip to Europe (London, specifically).

I've had pictures accepted at the Weather Channel's web site (www.weather.com).

In January of 2003, I got a Nikon n80 and that camera has changed my photography world. With more experience, I have found that my images are getting more professional. I am currently a staff photographer for a studio that specializes in Wedding, School, and Fashion Photography. I was also an assistant instructor at this same studio where I helped to teach and train new photographers. The current wedding season has been challenging, but very good for honing my skills even more.
