I believe that God gives each of us passions and skills for a purpose, and I am absolutely passionate about photography!! I have taken pictures since I was about 10 years old, and the passion has increased as the years pass. Photography is not my original career, however. I grew up in Kansas, went to Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS and became a veterinarian; I have been in small animal practice in the Chicago area since graduating in 1990. I got my first film SLR camera in 2003 and a digital SLR camera in 2007 and have taken many photography courses at the nearby community college. I believe I can touch others through my photography.
There is great beauty in this Earth - it is visible constantly in what God has created, but there is also great beauty in what God has inspired Man to make. My goal is to share this beauty in all its forms, and I hope that people experience the love of God through my photography.
