Bio

Hi! Thanks for visiting. I live in a small town in Illinois. I love nature and traveling. I have enjoyed photography for a long time, but didn't get too serious about it until I went to digital. I enjoy capturing the gifts God has blessed us with so that I can remember the moments I spend admiring His creation while I explore new and old places. I'm a teacher and so I have the luxury of being able to travel in the summer. I love to camp with my family in National Parks and forests, as well as other low-population areas. I have done some portraits of youth with whom I minister to as a youth leader in our church, as well as some of their friends and donate any profits to youth mission trips. I have been told by friends and family that my photography has promise. I have just begun to explore some photo web sites such as this and hope to learn more about how to improve. My husband just bought me a Nikon D80, so I'm hoping to be able to make some good improvements with a camera that allows me to be more creative. Now I just have to remember all the stuff I knew when I was shooting 35mm film. I hope you enjoy my photograghy.
