Its been a long way around my elbow to get to my ear but I'm finally here. Raised a National Park Service brat growing up in the late 50's thru about 1970, I had a great photography teacher in my father but didn't fully appreciate it at the time. Flirting with some photography in high school and a little in college soon gave way to the pursuit of carrer. A couple of years back I picked up an Olympus compact digital which began to rewet my photo heritage which has since blossomed fully.
I live in eastern North Carolina but my love is the land of my birth - the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and Virginia. It seems every picture I take is practice for my twice yearly journeys "home".
