Simply look with perceptive eyes at the world about you, and trust to your own reactions and convictions. Ask yourself: "Does this subject move me to feel, think and dream? Can I visualize a print - my own personal statement of what I feel and want to convey - from the subject before me? - Ansel Adams

There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer. - Ansel Adams

Bio

There is no special way a photograph should look. - Garry Winogrand

I live by this statement. Photography is an art and holding true to this, there is no special way it should be held up to any one standard. I am always pushing myself in new directions and trying new things. When I am photographing something I am looking to be true to the subject. I tend to always think one step ahead of myself. Before I even shoot something I am looking at it in the finished state in my mind, how it will look as a finished piece. This is what drives me, what gets me excited about the act of photographing something. It is a process that I still find I have a lot to learn, and I am enjoying every minute of it.
