I've been taking snapshots for many years. I think the photo "bug" runs in my family! I also have an interest in computers, so when I got my first digital camera I was hooked!! I like to take outdoor photos and became really interested in macro photography while taking my first class at BetterPhoto.com. I'm having a lot of fun with learning photography and think the internet/computer format makes it an ideal time to learn. I've progressed through a variety of cameras and now predominantly use a Nikon D300.
I live in West Virginia, am married with two grown children and four grandchildren. I have a couple of cats. I live in a very rural area near a lake and usually have a good supply of photographic opportunity close at hand.
