Bio

I have been interested in photography since high school, but never got into it until I purchased my first 35mm (a Canon Pellix) in 1964.

If the only qualification for being a "professional" is to get paid for taking photographs, I qualify. For the about the first 8 years I took crime scene and other related photos, (from auto accidents through homicides, including autopsies)as part of my job.

I have only been using digital photography since early 2005. I am also have a long term project of scanning the thousands of slides I have taken. My goal is to create DVD's of both my collection of slides and my digital photos.

My photographic goal is to learn to use my equipment and always try to improve my photos

About My Mini-Pic: the picture is the logo for a (nonexistant) business - "Old Salt Photographs"
