I am a "returnee," having been very much involved with photography many years ago -using a Nikon F film camera and a Nikkormat -and that is all I will say about my age! For many reasons, none of which I can recall anymore, I stopped snapping for a long time. I got back into it about four years ago when a friend asked me to take a picture of himself, his wife, and their new baby. I used his digital camera -my first time ever even touching a digital camera...It was love at first snap and I have been at it ever since. I consider myself pretty much of an amateur. I have not yet taken any classes, and have much to master about lighting and exposure and still do not know even half of what there is to know about my Nikon D80, which I use with the Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens and with the Nikkor 105mm VR micro lens. My photography goal is pretty simple: To get better!
