Bio

Taking photographs of the birds and wildlife that visit my backyard has brought me alot of joy. In addition to this, I love taking photo's of my eight animals (4 cats, 4 dogs). Recently, our property has become a certified National Wildlife Habitat. We have worked hard to provide the necessary food, water, shelter and a place for wildlife to raise their young. We've planted hundreds of tree's and plants and added several tons of rock to our property and our life is so much more enjoyable. It's hard to make myself leave home! When visitors come they always say how comfortable and warm our home and surroundings are. We've even had company fall asleep at our house (of course they could be bored :-). They say it;s because they feel so welcomed and at ease. It's so hard to be anything but happy here at our home, if your upset you walk outside and see a beautiful bird that God created to bring us the pleasure and joys that they do and you forget everything else, or at least I do.... Needless to say, this is how my need to take photographs came about. Hoping one day to truly capture the beauty of our surroundings. My husband (Jeffrey) recently purchased me a Nikon D70 as encouragement to continue to take photo's, as he has seen how happy it makes me and I hope that looking at my photo's brings a smile to your face as well.
