After wearing out his first single reflex camera and having it repaired twice at the cost of a new camera, he almost gave up photography back in the 70's. He switched to the Nikon system a few years back and has never looked back. He says the Nikon D2X gives so much it's a life long learning curve. He shoots nature,landscapes and travel photography. He likes capturing that special moment,like when a bird feeds another, or a sunset takes your breath, or the light is so wonderful that it gives you that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you know its just right.

I started taking pictures while on a hunting trip back in the 70's. The great west was great inspiration then and now. I like nature, I no longer hunt, have nothing against it I would just prefer to capture the moment and enjoy it many times over.
I have learned over the years its important to have equipment you can depend on and still use all the lenses you acquire over a period of time, thats why we use NIkon exclusively. I strive to take images that tell a story without useing words to explain whats happening. Its been said, I have a passion for photography if I do it will show. My goals are to be published in the finest magazines, so everyone can see and feel what its like to be out at daylight when the sky and earth come together in such wonderful light you can't describe it you have to experience it first hand, or to see a bluebird feed its mate a meal of love. Special moments should be preserved.
