The "Boy Governor" of Michigan. Mason was the last territorial and first state governor of Michigan. This statue is (was) located in downtown Detroit. I took this shot in Novemeber - during a recent trip to Detroit in March, the statue was gone. Hopefully it's just being cleaned!
