Description

While visiting the train depot
in Liberal Kansas a couple weekends
ago, I had a certain nostalgic feeling come over me.
This station isn't used to pick up passengers any longer,
but I imagined what it was like...back in the day
when trains, horseback, stagecoaches were the only form of transportation.
Wow...the world has come a long way!
Sometimes I wish I could go back
to that time....
even just for the day.

This does bring back memories of when I was a very small lad, waiting for my Dad to come home from the war. All terminals have good and sad memories after 26 years in the service. They hold joys of returns but sadness of goodbyes. Well composed shot none the less Jeana. How's the wheat looking out there now that winter is gone? #8477140

Wonderful, nostalgic image, Jeanna...the colors and perspective are super! Those days had their own set of problems...all in the making of today, I guess. We can't go back except to learn and perhaps do better today!
