(improved and resubmitted)
Two of the five goslings that were under mom's wings were peeking out. Taken at fairly close range using fill-flash to highlight the little ones. (I was well hidden behind some trees so as not to disturb papa who was standing guard nearby!) 300mm zoom lens, tripod, 400 speed film. Added smart blur in ps.

Thanks so much, everyone for your comments! Yes, Judy, I was quite lucky (in a way...not so lucky in another way!) There was a lot of noise going on from all of the other geese and swans at the lake that morning which distracted the geese and allowed me to sneak in behind them for this shot. However, the noise culminated just a few seconds after I got this shot... when a territorial swan attacked this sweet little family and killed one of the goslings. (Something I wasn't even aware that could happen and it was quite traumatic and sad to watch.) Thanks again for your comments! #1525879

This reminds me of duck egg we found in wild and put under setting chicken, he hatched and later would run under "Mom's" wings...only problem was he thought he was a chicken!!
