Description

It was difficult trying to capture these fruit bats at Koolanbung Creek so this is a composite of three images and a lot of cloning with the large bat's wing partially missing.

I took these while walking my grandson around the 7 or so kilometres of timber walkways that run throughout Koolanbung Creek at Port Macquarie yesterday.
There is somewhere around 3-500,000 fruitbats in this colony and is fast becoming a tourist attraction. #8444459
