Fabulous image Carolyn! I love the way you have spherized it - makes a very futuristic picture. Great composition of the buildings, yachts and the yellow boat. Very well done. #268569Kerby Pfrangle June 25, 2005

I think it looks pretty 'cool', too!! :o)My husband Phil actually suggested the effect for this one, so thanks to you too, Phil!! ;o) The spherize filter was set to 100% to achieve the effect in this image...
Thanks again, Janet and Kerby!! :o) #1517945

Thanks to Jenny, Jim, and Daniel, for looking at, and, for making comment on, this image of mine!! I thought that it leant itself to the spherize effect very well - glad that you all like it, too!! :o) #1529192Karen R. Rubeiz June 29, 2005
Carolyn this is bonzer! I like the point of view and the way you captured this:)Carolyn J. Connolly June 29, 2005
G'day Karen - very nice to hear from you again!! How's things going in Nebraska?! :o)We are getting a lot of rain here on the eastern side of Australia at the moment, and, most importantly, it seems that the country areas of NSW have been getting good follow-up rain to what they had a few weeks back!! Unfortunately, some areas around the Gold Coast, in southern Queensland, are actually getting flooding!! That seems to be the case in Australia a lot of times, though - it can certainly be a land of extremes!! Either drought or flooding rain...but, sometimes we get it just right!! ;o)
Anyway, thank you for your feedback on this image - glad you like it...and, all my other cityscapes!! Just thought I'd make a change in my gallery for a while!! Have a great day/evening, Karen!! :o) #1537702

This is wonderful Carolyn ~ I've only just noticed the spherize filter and yet to use it ~ but you've found a perfect use for it.. I agree with Kerby, we should see this one again!Joe Terni August 23, 2005
Firsly Carolyn I must apologise for not keeping an eye out for our other downunder members(I honestly cannot keep up with the great shots on BP,I think I will have to give up both the night and day job`s).I love this shot, and with the boat and its wake in front of the city skyline, its a real beauty. How good would it look on a poster? Fantastic Carolyn, a very exciting, inspiring shot and presentation. #1756156Dawn O November 09, 2005
Love your city scapes, Carolyn. I also thought this image was taken using a fish eye lens at first. Great shot!Dawn #2052899

WELL, Susie and Joe...first of all, let me apologise most sincerely for not replying to your wonderful comments earlier!! :o( Thanks very much for them, and, thank you too, Dawn, for your very nice comment!! :o)Susie - glad you like this image!! :o) Have you tried out the spherize filter yet?!! ;o)
Joe - ...and here you were apologising for not keeping an eye out for other Downunder members!! I know what you mean though, about all "the great shots on BP" - unfortunately, it IS impossible to take a look at all of them...as much as we'd like to!! Hope you haven't given up your day job yet, by the way!! ;o) I'm happy with the way this image turned out, and you obviously like it!! Have you tried out some of these different filters yourself? :o)
Dawn - thanks for taking a look through my gallery images, and, I'm pleased you like the Cityscape series I did!! It's worth trying out some of the different and unusual filters in PS - it's amazing what you can come up with sometimes!! ;o)
Thanks once again all - I appreciate the encouraging feedback!! :o) #2056687
