Check him out of school and we went to Grandmas house to see the snow... seems just magical to us FL natives...

Nice capture of the snowflakes falling, Sherry. It looks like he was ready for any cold with that hat and coat. Rivals the winter covering I generally see people wear in Quebec. :-) The photo really does capture the mood of such a rare event, #1238591Sherry McClead February 14, 2010
Thanks Dan... He was with his mom so being bundled up was a given... besides his hair is only 1/4 inch long so he needed the hat. We live in Florida and snow rarely comes close to us... this was about 50miles north of the coast at my parents and the first time he remembers seen anything more than flurries... #8380903Dominick M. This is so lovely, great composition and timing, Sherry.

Great capture,Sherry. It's amazing that you have snow while we have such a mild winter here in the N.W. We are in B.C. near Vancouver and could do with some cold and snow for the Olympics as you have no doubt heard! #8382575Christine Lobsinger February 15, 2010

Hi Christine,as far as I know the answer to that is yes. They dumped some powder snow by helicopter yesterday.Didn't see the Canada gold. I enjoyed the ladies Moguls they were all so friendly and hugging each other. such good sportsmanship. U.S.A. is doing really well in 2nd place with 8 medals. So congrats to your country Sherry!. #8387493Sherry McClead February 16, 2010

I'm going to be in vancouver the second week of March. Hope the weather holds up then. Our snow here melted real quick but there are a few small spots in the shady areas. I was glad to be able to capture some good snow photos before it started melting. #8390478Sherry McClead February 17, 2010
Well that was my first real snow fall in a long time... think it was the first in the daylight... I know it was for Sam...Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
