Description

I fixed some flaws and re-entered.

Image of a young lady looking in the mirror. She is with the back to the window, actually turned at about 45 degrees with her left side towards the light. The mirror was facing the window but slightly tilted back. The mirror was also lower than the window and I had the girl sit on the floor - hence the catchlight from the reflected light in the upper side of her eye. In the background we had a purple fabric, placed on a big cardboard and parallel with her back, so we don't get a mirror reflection of what was in the room. Basically I was playing with angles :)

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 10/20 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 45.00 mm, Model: E-300

Vickie, this is one single image of the girl looking in the mirror. She is with the back to the window, actually turned at about 45 degrees with her left side towards the light. The mirror was facing the window but slightly tilted back.

Dale, I tilted the mirror to get more reflected light from it, since it was lower than the window. #8377165

To me it is ultra-impressive when a photographer is able to totally control the light and shadow. This is a brilliant experiment, and she takes on a sort of alien, supernatural look. #8378287
