Description

Hmm. Well I went to this one town in Washington called Snohomis or whatever and it was really nice but the weather sucked so I tried to take this picture with my new tripod! Im not sure if its to dark-ish. But it doesnt really have alot of details.
Well please critique! Thanks!!

You did well!!
Detail is not always the best to get sometimes the less is the best.
The B&W sets the mood and your portrait is super sharp and the dept of field is wicked!! #266326

I like this a lot, Isabel, for the composition and the choice of b&w.
The handrail (fence?) line leads my eye right to the person.
...reminds of a movie scene... #1494830

It's a really great shot, Isabel. Not too dark at all. If you want to get super nit-picky you could crop a bit off the right side, but I don't know that it would make a big difference. Truly, it's really good! #1533675

He now lives in Bothell - I was out there a couple years ago, the whole Seattle area is beautiful - I am way over here in NH, so it's nice to get out and about :-) #2457147

I really like this shot ... the repetition of the knobs on the fence and the interposition of the human face gives it both a jolting and dreamy quality, and which I find an intersting and pleasing juxtaposition.

Which lenses are you using for the EOS Rebel? I have a 20D and would like go graduate from the 18-55mm kit lens.

Thanks for being the first commentor on my photo! #2468634
