Hi Joan... cute shot. The doggie's body language says he sees something interesting. Your horizon is slightly off but your husband is straight. #28903

Hi Connie,

Thank you! Oh yes...he is always looking for food and probably spotted some!:)

What would cause the horizon being off like that? What could I have done differently? #75873

Hi Joan... holding the camera straight is one of the hardest things.. whenever you are shooting a water horizon it will show. You can correct it in PS by rotating the photo... you'll have to see what your husband looks like then. :o) Also.. if you took the shot with your husband more to the left in keeping with "the rule of thirds" it would help the composition. I still think it is a very nice shot... and keep shooting. I have learned so much from on line photo sites in the last year. Good luck. PS.. I love dogs, too... my favorite subjects. #75901
