Lets use the word educational for todays shot Hal....

One look at those Talons tells you they are the SERIOUS BUSINESS END of the bird.
First Eagle I saw close up was in the Jacksonville Zoo 36 yrs ago. He was on the turf floor of his enclosure tearing
huge hunks of grass up with each contraction of his feet. Seemed to enjoy it A LOT....
