Description

I think my niece looks like Cindy Lou Who from the cartoon version of The Grinch who Stole Christmas in this photo. It's another of my favorites from my June 10 practice portrait session in my house.

I used only natural light from a window on this, no artificial lighting. My camera was on the portrait setting. I did some editing with Paint Shop Pro 6, lightened the photo, despeckled, used unsharp mask, and cropped.

Lori, this is a 6'x9' background I got from Ebay. They called it Poly-Canvas, it's a polyester/canvas blend. It's real cheap looking close up, it almost looks like plastic and not at all like real canvas backgrounds. It photographs well, though, and it cleans up beautifully! #1469257
